Testimonials

Andrew. I’m reporting in on the Nivis Ski Jacket that you and your client so generously sent to my Montana home.

Since I’m a back country skier I usually ski in an Arcteryx Shell so as to layer to fit the temperature. That said, I have a variety of jackets including Kjus, Peak Performance and Bögner. The Nivis is equal in quality, construction and style. Everyone loves this color. Unusual and special eh? I’m 6’2” 196 lbs and the fit of the Large is perfect.

Today I was on our local ski mountain skiing the trees and drainages. The temp was about 15 degrees. I purposefully didn’t wear too many layers to evaluate the thermal performance and I must say that I was comfortable while stationary on the lift AND while grinding through all the moguls and trees.

Having skied all 7 continents…Antarctica, Japan and Africa included I’ve seen plenty of gear. I really appreciate the opportunity to evaluate this garment and will take it with me on my April trip to Svalbard.  I’ll be doing a sail and ski week and will be sure to send the two of you an “on location” photo.

Please let Lauren know I got the package today with all the honey I brought back from Greece. It arrived intact.  Wednesday we head to Utah. Snow there has exceeded 600”.  I’ll be skiing Alta, Snowbird and Powder Mountain and prob head back home via Aspen. It’s been a great season thus far!

Gregg, Montana

“It’s is truly the best resort jacket I have even worn. It’s so light but warm. I like it in the backcountry but it needs tobe a pretty cold day and I only wear it for the descent. So comfortable, warm and stretchy”

Charlie P., Jackson Hole, WY

“I love it. Not sure what is best compliment I cangive. It doesn’t restrict me and itholds my necessary gear in the right places. I love the cellphone pocket that keeps it from dying. Great Jacket. American flag is awesome”

Tappan A., Vail, CO

“I love this jacket. Been raving about it all day. I am so hyped. Best jacket I’ve ever worn.”

Sasha N., Steamboat, CO

“First day with it today at Killington. Conditions pretty poor, but we had fun and jacket rocked, I especially liked the insulation – just right, enough but not too much.”

Trip D., Killington, VT

“Great looking jacket with the contrasting zips. I was more than pleased. I wore one layer less than I normally would to check the insulation and it kept me as warm if not warmer than my old jacket. Cell phone pocket works great. Even though there was no precipitation it was very windy so I tried the hood. The fit over the helmet was nice.”

Keith P., Snowshoe, WV

“Great jacket for cold/snowy conditions. Fit is good and like the hood a lot. Arm lift pass thing works great.”

David G., Telluride, CO

“Repelled water well yesterday and it was sloppy and windy. It’s my full time ski jacket now”

Ethan S, Jackson Hole, WY

“Perfect weight and stretch, I like it.”

Todd M., Jackson Hole, WY

“My new go to jacket. I like everything about it. Lightweight perfect fit. Nailed the red clay color. People keep asking me where I got it.”

David S., Snowshoe, WV

“The jacket is super lightweight but keeps the damp and wind out so well, that I don't need an underlayer. Love the unique red clay color! Makes me stand out on the mountain.”

Jason M., Hunter / Mt. Snow

I’ve been using the jacket almost daily in the Utah backcountry for 4 months and it’s performed amazing in some of the best snow ever here. The fit is great. It’s light and can pack down into a bag pretty easily.  I friggin love how well the hood fits over my helmet and I could still zip it all the way. The material has a great feel for how water resistant it is and it’s super pliable and comfortable.”
